Oregon Steelhead fly fishers have many options this time of year. Big rivers and small get both hatchery and wild fish. We fish the Clackamas, Trask, Wilson, NF Nehalem and the Oregon Coast rivers.

Each year in June, the Willamette River sees an abundant return of shad. While an invasive species in our waters, shad absolutely hammer the fly with reckless abandon. It’s an easy, fun jet boat trip just minutes from downtown Portland and Oregon City.
