Guest Chef - Deschutes Jet Boat Camp Trip

Experience the finest fly fishing Oregon has to offer in the amazing canyon of the Deschutes River combined with an incredible dining experience with our guest chef experience. This year we are offering two separate camp trips with two amazing chefs! Both of our chefs have been with us for previous guest chef opportunities and we know that you won’t want to miss this!

October 5-8: Guest Chef Chad Newton joins us from Nashville, TN where he runs a chain of restaurants. His passion for preparing amazing meals is possibly only surpassed by his zeal for chasing steelhead. Chad has a wealth of knowledge about food preparation and his mouth watering selections will have you begging for more!

October 8-11: Guest Chef Eric Hillerns joins us from Portland, OR. Eric has amazed us with his mouth watering creations for a number of years and brings a refined touch that masterfully and reliably delivers oohs and aaahs from our guests.

On this trip we bring you the comforts of home away from home on this four day safari style adventure. Our glamping style fishing camp has large roomy tents, comfortable cots and super cushy sleeping pads. A well lit camp, complete with a shower and napping hammocks round out the overall aesthetic for the perfect riverside dining experience.

You’ll access the lower Deschutes River via jet boat to a riverside camp. From there we can move up or down the river to the fishing each day convening at camp for the best riverside meals around.

The Deschutes River is famous for its amazing wild trout and world class steelhead fishing and this trip is timed for prime steelhead fly fishing action. Come join us for an experience you won’t forget!
